The Metals and Minerals Division invests in non-ferrous projects, uranium and coal mining projects in North America, markets nuclear fuel in North America/South America and Europe, and exports both metallurgical and thermal coal from the US and Canada. Working together with the Washington DC office, we contribute to the stable supply of resources and energy to Japan and the world, as well as to the development of the global economy and environmental initiatives.
